For xentry in options .... DAS is required for a specific file!

Tell me what language you prefer and we send you private!

But language is chosen at the beginning of the installation.

EPC is different for installation.

You must have XP Professional on your PC! They can serve other computers that have R232 serial port.

I have a Panasonic CF-19 Touch! IBM T30 is very slow, you can find other computers and DELL!

The biggest problem is knowing how to configure the serial port, since the new multiplexer xentry works differently!

The best thing is to find a tutorial for the installation and it's a bit complicated from 07-2011 version!

The biggest problem is knowing how to configure the serial port, since the new multiplexer xentry works differently!

So does not matter which Version of WIS/EPC I have installed first. I can use any Notebook with Serial Connection (RS232) and Windows XP installed. And I need to configure the Serial Parameters properly. This is the first Step to use XENTRY. That's all?

PS: I got a tutorioal. I know also, that the hard disk needs to get partitioned into various parts. I was just not clear regarding the versions, the operating system and Notebook type.

The complex is the R232 port settings! But once learned is easy! I since I have the Panasonic CF-19, IBM computers are not good, they are very slow!

Since Mercedes released the SD CONNECT COMPACT 4 Interface/Multiplexer, there is no need for IBM T30/60 or DELL 610/630 Notebooks anymore?

As far as I understood, the connection to the new generation of multiplexers is either over WLAN or LAN Cable, what is more effective and does not need any drivers (or RS232 Port).

That's actually great news or not? So any Notebook with WLAN or LAN Port can be used for Star Diagnosis.

And honestly: The RS232 Port is quite slow compared to LAN Cable. So I appreciate this change. The only negative is the price. While you can find the old C3/C4 Multiplexer for about 350 $ in China (as Clone), the new Generation SD COMPACT costs about 600 $.

However. I am still wondering whether DAS/XENTRY can work then with Windows 7 or do I need then to run the Application over VM Ware?

I have old C3 and work with VM War. and is very complicated and slowly.
Brought a lot of RAM.
I have small netbook ASUS p1005ha, but is very very slowly and than next crash (blue screen of death - BSoD) have only 1GB RAM and WinXP.
You have good mind with LAN cable is good and speedy work, but is only my idea.
I must find this product.

And one ask for you brothers I have Xentry 01/2011 only with EN language, but I brought CS(CZ) language.
I have all in CS(CZ) language, but DAS is in EN or CN language and I brought in CS(CZ).
I must find manual, please help me who knows.
