This isn't specifically for my Truck, but I believe the process is similar. I'm facing issues with my 1999 C5 Corvette's PCM, and it's not passing the bench test. Instead of purchasing a pre-programmed PCM or buying a license and flashing it with my original tune, I'm considering a generic TECH 2 programmer or any bi-directional scan tool. Can they perform the same function? Can I save the configuration from the original PCM and flash it onto the new one? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
