Virtual Images - truckcomm - 04-01-2012
Hi All,
Just one of those thoughts,
Instead of making VMWare images, that need prpietry software. Why not make Virtualbox images that is open source and free?

The player is for free too
Vm -ware is stable and works on all PC
VM have over 20 years experience in this sector of the virtual PC's
and "Don't touch a running system!"

Do asearch about VMware Player .. download it , install it ..and you will see
its for free , no keys req or patch .

Why not upload the software then let the user install where they want?

Well I like the VM ware installations. No need for keys, and when it stops working you can just unzip again and it works, without need to clean the registry or so.

This type of software has its advantages
Fully installed software does not need a key, crack or patch!
Failed to install the software by the user is excluded!
(see the many postings to ask why it does not work)
If on other PC's run without change
and so on .......
The advantages of "VM", clearly outweigh the disadvantages!
Why do you need the "install disk", except to install the software?

Just one example i can think of. Why do you need a seperate VM ware for Lindos, Truck expert, truck doctor, pathfinder etc. Why not have all 4 software on one VMware image.

I agree with this one. It would be great if each brand has its own VMware image with all the software and pdf's related to this brand.

i have just noticed that the new version of Hyster Hypass, there is an option to download the ISO or the VMware. Is this going to be the new format. Looks like a good idea. Should suit everyone.
